Tom Brown (American football, born 1940)

Thomas William Brown (born December 12, 1940) is a former National Football League and Major League Baseball player. He also played college football for the University of Maryland.
==American football==
Brown played defensive back for the Green Bay Packers from 1964–1968 and for the Washington Redskins during the 1969 season. He intercepted a last-ditch pass in the end zone by quarterback Don Meredith, preserving the Packers' 34-27 victory in the 1966 NFL title game over the Dallas Cowboys. He finished his career with 13 interceptions and six fumble recoveries, including one for a touchdown. He played in the first two Super Bowls while with the Green Bay Packers. He also returned 27 punts and 7 kickoffs.
